Like, funny as it sounds, I would have never imagined I could create something so magical yet strategical. About 3 years ago, I helped a friend with her business. 

She originally came to me asking if I could help with a few things. And for about a year, I helped with just a few certain side office jobs not really being involved in management and how things were operating. 

As time went on, I noticed that things needed to change and a lot of them, I could no longer watch things being done incorrectly as I had the ability to change them.

I went to her and asked if I could take over and make some adjustments. With open arms she said yes, absolutely!

Now, there were 2 ladies, that had been working in the office that were getting ready to retire. They were older, still doing the same routine for 15 plus years, but things change and we needed to change with the times. So this was perfect timing to restructure and start fresh.

So many thoughts were swirling in my head, and they all revolved around Trello. I needed systems and organization to keep it all straight.

This is not just a job, It's running 2 corporations with tons of moving parts.

One is Automotive Repair and the second is a Towing Company. 

1. I handle all finances, vendor relations, email, ordering, employees, process payroll, process all the taxes and quarterlies and all the other data entry. (All of these things have their own Trello Board to keep it all straight)

2. I am a Notary, so I take care of legal things.

3. I process all the vehicles with State and Local agencies as the vehicles come in. (I installed Trello App on the Drivers Phones so they take a picture of the vehicle and paperwork, and it immediately shows up on a screen in my office and on my phone for me to process. There are tons of tasks required here but I have it down to a science. I even hold the Auction once a month for unclaimed vehicles.

Now, when I first took over, the businesses were about 100k in debt, and a few major things were happening wrong. How to manage daily money is a story all of it's own.

1. As you know, the last 2 years have been extremely hard on businesses so all kinds of crazy different things were happening. 

I took a look at all the things that could change, I looked at vendors, restructured that whole thing. Automated bill pay and set up an email just for vendors and payments only. It's a filing cabinet all of it's own that will stop the paper. I immediately stopped using a checking account to pay for daily expenses and bills, because I could earn money using a credit line paid in full.

2. I applied for some grants, resulting in 135k in grants that allowed me to gain a clean slate.

3. I also asked vendors for a discount for cash payment which most do. (Usually 5%)

Because of the systems I have put into place in these businesses, I am happily working from home, monitoring daily activities on Trello, and watching things run efficiently and smoothly.

This is crazy.

Because I made such a difference in this business and the lives of all the employees that need that job, I discovered I have the ability and the sincere passion to help others achieve their goals and dreams.

So, I’ve created TrelloBoss and I continue to build out systems and processes using the knowledge I have gained in the 30 plus years I've been running multiple business corporations.
